Orange Juice
Mid-Autumn Festival, 2007
I would like to have a glass of orange juice with you.
Beer is too complicated,
while orange juice is so much better.
It is so pure,
and so sweet,
just like you.

I Did It My Way

Eye of the Beholder Extended Ending
As one of my favorite movies, Eye of the Beholder has the kind of saddening effect that has been haunting me ever since I watched it for the first time. Mostly this is because of its heart-breaking ending, with Joanna (the leading actress) dying in the arms of Eye (the leading actor). And I remember as the "cast" rolled, I thought: This CANNOT be the ending!
I guess a lot of fans of Eye of the Beholder would find this extended ending comforting.
The dialog in English:
Eye: "Who are you visiting?"
Girl: "My mum. And you?"
Eye: "My wife. - What's your name?"
Girl: "Lucy!"

South Park is Funny, Crudely
THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM CONTAINS COARSE LANGUAGE AND DUE TO ITS CONTENT IT SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED BY ANYONE.”

Have a Little Patience
Take That is history. Yet sometimes history replays.
Their new single "Patience" is typical brit-pop, and therefore, not bad. The theme is sorta like Enrique's Sad Eyes, though.
And how about Erique's Sad Eyes?

Is a Losing Battle Worth Fighting For?
It has been a long time since last time I logged on to Blogger. And the next time I tried jennifersadventure.blogspot.com, there was this good old GFW.
Well let it.
Long time no see. How have you been pals? I missed you.
I have been really busy these days, but I learned a lot of new things, and still I am learning. Although I think that probably the lazy days when I logged on to Blogger everyday and shared my thoughts with you will never come back, I am still here--I am not leaving.
Love

Paradise Lost

On Life as It is in the Universe (For a Friend)
Hi, Bill, this entry is for you.
I have to admit that I come to realize that my “different pictures” theory simply does not make a satisfactory answer. So I give a second thought to your idea of thinking about life as it is in the universe.
所以最后一句话应该改成:...the future of the entire universe might be so different only because you wear your smile today.

Where is Your Home?
In some episode (I forget which one) of Prison Break, our beloved character "Van Gogh" passed away. Although it almost becomes a "fashion" to write a "prayer" for every character that died in Prison Break, I do not plan to do so. And it seems that Haywire does not worth it, either—he does not seem to belong to this world where we do.
Then we heard this song Home at Haywire's fall. It felt a bit strange, but not out of place. "Home", such a warm word. It is so warm that people often forget why it is.
Dictionaries would not miss out on the word "family" for the entry "home", yet they might forget the word "destination"—although probably the word "home" "shines" because of, not "family", but "destination". There is a line in Trainspotting said by the character Mark Renton: Here I was surrounded by my family and my so-called mates and I've never felt so alone. Probably he felt this way because he felt his destination missing.
Where is your home? Maybe it is not about family, but it must be about where you belong. Is it where you are now, or is it the neverland that you have been looking for for so long, with blue sky, bright sunshine, and windmills rotating with refreshing breeze?
But I guess the lyrics are right anyway, One day you really got to go home.

Go, go, go! Paul!
Lincoln: If you want me, you got me. Let my brother go!
Mahone: I don't want either of you. I just want my life back!

Review: Just Like the Fambly Cat
It is hard to describe how it was like listening to Grandaddy's last album. Kind of sad, while well aware that sadness will not help. Anyway, drop the mood and let us see how it was like.
Just Like the Fambly Cat is just like Grandaddy, one cannot see this last album as one of those last albums that have a sum-up effect over the artists, though. Compared with earlier peaks like Sumday and The software Slump, Just Like the Fambly Cat is simply "plane" Grandaddy. During the nearly one-hour time, one could even be reminded of Under the Western Freeway for some quite similar tunes. Well, sometimes it is difficult to drop the mood, isn't it; Summer...It's Gone is quite emotional, and so sad that it almost brought me to tears. One could also find some songs with that kind of "bright color" of Grandaddy's and when you are listening, it is like sunshine were on you. The album ends with Jason singing I'll never return. (Shangri-La (Outro))
Grandaddy, thank you for your talent, and whatever, you will always be one of my favorites!

About Mood Sets

As You Wish, GFW.
如此反复,是GFW还是Blogger-beta(jennifersadventure.blogspot.com使用的是Blogger-beta)在测试期完工后换了地址,我想在反复了这么多次后,不会有人猜得到了。
